Johnny Dennis Franklin (Francolini)
John Franklin was born on June 21st 1932 to Vincenzo Francolini and Mabel Emilia Barbaresi in Detroit Michigan. He lived in East Detroit Michigan now Eastpointe with his family and attended East Detroit High School. He joined the US NAVY July 21st 1952 and served until June 29 1956. He served on the USS Ticonderoga an air craft carrier where he spent many months as part of the Sixth fleet in the Mediterranean sea. While in the Navy he was a Green Shirt aircraft mechanic specialist.
John Married his wife Dorothy Shirley Cusman(Cusmano) and they had 3 children (Pam, Paul and Paula). They also have 7 Grandchildren and 10 great grand children.
John worked as an estimator for a company called Modern Hard Chrome when he passed away on September 15 1991.
John was stationed in the Mediterranean during his Navy deployment as part of the sixth fleet in the early 1950s. The fleet was stationed in Napoli. He took a trip to visit the Barbaresi family.
