Antonina Mazzola was born to Cristofaro Mazzola and Lorenza Vitale on January 9th 1857 in Terrasini Palermo Sicily. In our family we were told she was called Lena here in the U.S. However her son Cristofaro's family called her affectionately Mamma Nina.
